Using my amasing detective powers (i.e. getting adrian to ask) I have discovered that Paris this year will be held from the 8th to the 10th of march meaning we will probably leave on sunday the 7th and spend a day in the city centre after the com so we come back on the friday or saturday.

I know it seems like its miles away but that gives me loads of time to start organising.  As in previous years the mens competition is a team event and the womens is an individual so if people could let me know asap if you want to come as I have to enter the teams.  The more the merrier but the less we will be able to subsidise it and as a word of warning it will be slightly more expensive than last year as we are sorting out our own accomodation this year.

If you want any more details ask me or visit the following:

I'd love to come, but I'm feeling considerably less solvent this year than last. Plus I'm not keen on writing off the whole week! Just to put it out there, how would people feel about just going for the competition and not going into Paris afterwards? (Maybe as a compromise, going into Paris at the weekend, before the competition so we can still get back by Wednesday?)

I don't know. Do you have a passport (legal requirement to travel abroad), fencing kit (required by competition organisers for some reason) and £1000 (should cover expenses, with whatever is left going towards new fencing kit for me)?
