This post is mainly just a heads up.

As I've got some time to kill before term starts (and *cough* want to avoid doing my 3rd year project as much as possible) I've hatched a cunning plan to reskin the website with a slick(ish) new look, whilst also attempting to make the menu system a little more instinctive (I keep getting emails from new visitors saying they can't find stuff).

Don't worry, I am NOT going to lose our funky moving graphic. But if people have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

It's your website. I just happen to have ultimate power (mwahahaha!)

Sounds like a good plan Emma...it can be a bit difficult to find things quickly etc. so go for it :)

It may be worth up dateing the graphics to include some of the newer photos.... or have a gallery section where admin can upload new photos of the shenanigins that go on in fencing

Can I suggest either getting rid of the calendar page or adding some events to the calendar?

Liking the improved website, Emma.

Can you add a login box to the forum page?

Maybe also a little paragraph about fencing itself could be slotted in somewhere?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm almost done with the restructuring and content-update. Then I can start on the fun re-skinning process. I hope to have it all done by the Bunfight at the very latest!

Just a couple of things.

Why is the home page is ridiculously wide, whereas every other page is the same width? Would be better if they all matched.

Also I have a problem with this: "modern fencing is a sport of speed, dexterity, and possibly even tactics" (my emphasis). Tactics are arguably the most important aspect of fencing.

Apart from that I'd say everything looks pretty good.
